About

Two decades of evidence-based, compassionate practice

I founded my private practice in the UK, in 2014, alongside my work in the NHS. My aim has always been to offer thoughtful, evidence-based psychological support to adults experiencing emotional, relational, and professional challenges. Since then, my practice has continued to evolve in response to the changing pressures people face in modern life, from the emotional impact of major life transitions, trauma, depression, uncertainty, to workplace stress, burnout and interpersonal difficulties, and day to day challenges.

My story

Since graduating in 2004, I have worked with many individuals seeking to better understand themselves, manage difficult emotions and behaviours, and create meaningful changes in their lives. My practice has continued to evolve in response to the changing pressures people face in modern life, from the emotional impact of major life transitions, trauma, depression, uncertainty, to workplace stress, burnout and interpersonal difficulties, and day to day challenges.

My clinical experience spans private practice, NHS services, organisational settings, and healthcare environments. This has given me the privilege of working with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, each bringing their own personal history, strengths, difficulties, and hopes for therapy.

Clinical Experience

Who I have worked with

In my clinical practice I have supported clients with a wide range of psychological presentations, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, low self-confidence, and emotional and behavioural dysregulation.

I have a particular interest in supporting people in high-pressure roles — corporate clients, healthcare professionals, leaders, and those navigating major life transitions.

Over the last seven years I have worked with employees from world leading organisations related to finance (i.e. Lloyds Bank Group, Morgan Stanley), law (i.e. Clifford Chance, Ernst and Young), technology (Google), healthcare (HCA), where emotional wellbeing is often affected by responsibility, performance demands, complex relationships, and the pressure to keep going, alongside other emotional difficulties.

My Approach

Grounded in theory, tailored to you

My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychological theory, clinical expertise, and evidence-based interventions, tailoring the work to each person rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method.
I believe therapy works best when it offers both understanding and practical change. Some clients come to therapy needing a safe space to make sense of painful experiences; others are looking for strategies to manage emotions, improve relationships, or navigate difficult decisions. Often, therapy involves both, understanding the roots of distress while developing new ways of responding to life in the present and plan the future.

Throughout my career, I have been deeply moved by the resilience people show when given the right support. I have seen clients overcome traumatic experiences, rebuild confidence, repair relationships, progress in their careers, and reconnect with parts of themselves they thought they had lost. It is a privilege to accompany people through those moments of vulnerability, courage, and transformation.

Clients have sometimes described my therapeutic style as being like “the voice on their shoulder”. A steady, compassionate presence that helps them pause, reflect, and respond differently when life feels difficult. For me, this captures something very important about therapy: the aim is not only to feel better in the room, but to carry new understanding, skills, and self-belief into everyday life.
